A fantastic Nancy Drew-like mystery that is for ALL mystery lovers, not just teenagers!
Why did it take me so long to read this? I bought it when it came out and have only now read it. And I loved it so much! cannot wait for June 1st when the next book Good Girl, Bad Blood comes out in Australia.Growing up I loved the Nancy Drew books and this was like reading one of them. It is a YA book but it is for anybody who loved a good story. It is a fun, twisty murder mystery. The main character Pippa is awesome. She is a good girl, loves doing homework and is striving to go to Cambridge after school. So, Pippa decides to investigate the biggest story to ever happen in her little town for her final year project. 5 years ago Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh, who then went onto kill himself. Closed case. But Pippa isn’t so sure, and finding the truth out herself and those close to her in danger. Does this stop her? I don’t think so.The book is interspersed with hand drawn maps, police reports, diagrams and all the tools that Pippa uses to wok this case. Absolutely loved it and could not get enough.

I think the editor should accept half the blame
I was recommended this book and really did not think much about it when i purchased it. But this book is amazing. I loved it. It has been a while since i have read a YA and I am so glad that this was the one I chose. The writing is well done, the setting is amazing and the characters lovable and real. I loved it so much so that i purchased the sequel asap. New Holly Jackson fan here.
